Today, Tutor The Nation is celebrating the launch of our new brand! We’ve been working hard with the lovely folks at Drew & Rose to come up with a brand identity and website that reflects what we are all about. In this blog, we’d love to tell you a bit more about our new look.
Bridging the gap…
Our new logo puts bridging the education gap right at the heart of what we do. We know that our free tutoring can make a real difference in tackling inequality, so it was important that our logo showed everyone that Tutor The Nation is all about helping young people cross the divide.
… with a smile!
However, the ‘H’ in our logo doesn’t just represent us bridging the gap. It also lines up perfectly with the smile of our new mascot, Bridget! We wanted to show that, for us, combating educational inequality isn’t all doom and gloom. Our volunteers are helping the young people they support to be more confident, passionate, and happy learners, and Bridget’s big smile demonstrates just that!
Bridget will be popping up all over the place in the future – on social media and merchandise, and at in-person events. We want her smiley face to represent everything we’re about at Tutor The Nation – making a real difference to educational inequality, and making sure that everyone enjoys themselves in the process.
A shiny new website
To tie everything together, we’re thrilled to be launching a brand new website. The new website is a friendly, informative hub for everyone involved with Tutor The Nation (or those who want to get involved) to find out all they need to know about the charity.
Throughout the website, we’ve tried to ensure that the stories of the young people we support are placed front and centre. We want everybody to know just how much of a difference tutoring can make to the education of young people, and what better way to demonstrate that than in their own words!
Moving forward, the website will also be the home of another exciting new development in Tutor The Nation’s growth. But more on that soon…
We really hope that you like our new look – it’s been a lot of hard work to create a brand and website that really reflect who we are as a charity. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, or just want to tell us how great it all looks, we would love to hear from you!
